We take two longer breaks per year (two weeks each): Spring Break and Christmas Break.
School is in session Monday-Saturday from 9am-4pm.
On weekday evenings students often play games, do crafts and art projects, practice musical instruments, read books, hang with friends, or do nothing at all, free time is free and it is nice to be your own boss for a few hours!
On Sundays the students sleep in (usually until noon! Good grief!) and then we go wherever they want to go. Often they choose Barnes and Noble, one of various Malls, the Halloween Store, the movies, food trucks or Paint balling, etc… Honestly they come up with new things every month, so it is hard to list them all. Sometimes they just want to go to Target and Pizza Hut and then come home. Again, everyone needs to be boss sometimes.
