High School Curriculum
Required Core Subjects (14 credits)
- Algebra & Geometry 3 credits
- English Grammar, Literature & Composition 4 credits
- US & World History 2 credits
- US & World Geography 1 credit
- Civics (includes Religion/Cultural Studies, Government, Political Science, Economics) 1 credit
- Biology and 2 other sciences 3 credits total
Electives (students much choose at least 5 electives, 2 of which must be additional sciences)
- Science: Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Microbiology, Earth Sciences, Astronomy
- Math: Trigonometry (required for college prep), Calculus
- Languages: German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Latin, Italian, American Sign Language (2 credits foreign language required for college prep)
- Art: Art Appreciation, Art History, Calligraphy, Sketching, Color Studies, Watercolor/Acrylic/Oil Painting, Fiber Arts/Sewing, Stained Glass
- Home Economics: Cooking, Baking, Hygiene/Cleaning
- Other: Business, Human Relations, Health, Philosophy, Piano and more upon request.
Additional Services Available:
- SAT and ACT tutoring (we will also coordinate the testing)
- College guidance, application assistance and preparation
Upon graduation students will receive a diploma from the school.
